Call for Strategic Projects under the CRMA | The European Commission’s Directorate General for Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs launched a second call for strategic raw materials projects under the Critical Raw Materials Act.
The CRMA designates strategic projects to increase EU capacity to extract, process and recycle strategic raw materials and diversify EU supplies from third countries. Those projects are expected to become technically feasible within a reasonable timeframe, showing expected production volumes, and implemented sustainably with a sufficient estimated confidence level.
The deadline for applications is 15 January 2026. |
